Say, “He is God, (the) One. The Self-Sufficient Master. He begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.”(Quran 112:1-4)

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon his) said :
The major sins are associating other objects of worship with God, disobedience to parents, murder, and giving false witness. (Abdullah ibn Amr in Bukhari and Muslim)
The Quran enlightens and guides over one billion people from around the world. One in every five persons is a Muslim.
The Muslim population is not confined to the Middle East. Only about 18% of Muslims live in the Arab world. The largest Muslim population in any one country is in Indonesia (over 150 million). There are Muslims living in many places in Asia. Most of Africa's population is Muslim. There are also large Muslim minorities living in China, the former Soviet Union, Europe, South and North America. In India, where Muslims number close to 150 million, they are a minority!
Muslims therefore should not be confused with Arabs. Muslims may be Arabs, Africans, Americans, Canadians, Chinese, Pakistanis, Malaysians, or other nationalities. On the other hand an Arab could be a Jew, Christian, Muslim, an atheist or something else.
And it is He who spread out the earth, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and (flowing) rivers: and fruits of every kind He made in pairs, two and two: He draws the Night as a veil over the Day. Verily in those things there are signs for those who consider. (Quran: Chapter 13, Verse 3)
It is God Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and with it We bring forth vegetation of all kinds, and out of it We bring forth green stalks, from which We bring forth thick clustered grain. And out of the date palm and its sheaths come forth clusters of dates hanging low and near, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety and taste). Look at their fruits when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof. Verily, in these things there are signs for a people who believe. (Quran: Chapter 6, Verse 99)
It is God who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is not to be passed. (Quran: Chapter 25, Verse 53)
Just as how many understand Christianity to be the continuation of Judaism, Muslims see Islam as simply the continuation and clarification of Christianity, and believe and accept Jesus (peace be upon him) as a prophet of God. The quickest way I can explain all of this to you is to have you watch the video below:

The Hadith are sayings and practices of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Muhammad (peace be upon him) lived during the sixth and seventh centuries.
Muslims accept him as God’s last prophet and messenger to mankind. He invited people to the same God that Abraham, Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them) invited people to. The sayings of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) number in the thousands, and cover a variety of topics.
Listen to President Obama and you will surprised on what he has to say about Islam and Muslims. He goes into details you never hear on mainstream media.
